Equal Exchange Teas

Equal Exchange Teas
Contact person: Kurt T. Bachmann

NUUF sells coffee, tea, hot cocoa mix, and chocolate bars from Equal Exchange, a wholesale distributor cooperative. You may buy selected products a la carte, or you can join the “Fair Trade Club” for $10 and purchase all Equal Exchange products by the case.

Equal Exchange sells six organic, small-farmer, premium teas: green, English breakfast, Earl Grey, Irish breakfast, green magic, and rooibos. The first three are old stand-by Darjeeling teas from north India that Equal Exchange has sold for years. We currently have 25-bag boxes of green and English breakfast teas available for instant sale at $3.

The latter three teas were introduced last year. Irish breakfast is a blend of black teas from north and south India; green magic is a light green tea from Sri Lanka, and caffeine-free rooibos tea from South Africa has a “fruity character with vanilla overtones.” Recently, Equal Exchange started offering 6-box cases of all teas for only $15, a very attractive price for new and seasoned tea drinkers!

Around the world, coffee and fellowship come together where we share community. By using Equal Exchange Fairly Traded coffees and teas, you can enjoy a great cup of coffee while helping small farmers in the developing world as they build a better future for themselves and their families.Equal Exchange Teas
