Larry Bierman will present "Favorites: A Poetry Reading"

September 9:
Emilie Steele will kick off a new sermon series in this Introduction to The Principles and Sources
AFTERWARD WE WILL HAVE A SPAGHETTI LUNCH (INSTEAD OF THE USUAL 2ND SUNDAY POTLUCK) AND HAVE AN INFORMAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING.

September 16:
Mary Francis will talk about paper ballots and how it relates to the 5th Principle (The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large)

September Equinox Celebration

September 30: Susan Cogan will present "We've Got Good News" a sermon on sharing our faith.

AUGUST EVENTS

Meditative Dance – Tuesday, August 21 at 7 p.m. We'll turn the lights down low and put on music. There will be a brief talk about "how to" before starting and there will be a brief discussion afterward. If it's tough for you to meditate because it's hard to sit still for a long time, this is definitely a style of meditation you want to check out. We're asking a $5 donation to cover the cost of the room, but don't worry if you don't have it. Nobody will be turned away because of lack of funds. For more info, call 226-9712.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL

August 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fellowship House.

The annual Ice Cream Social kicks off the fall season with sweet treats. Bring ice cream to share and all the goodies that go with ice cream (sprinkles, chocolate syrup, pie ala mode, anyone?). Also bring your friends and family! Nobody should miss out on this!
